Chistmas Drift Snowmen

I created this last Christmas and still is so cute I thought I would feature it for the coming week. Also because it just seemed appropriate for Christmas time.
I took a small chalk board and painted it with acrylics and sealed it all. I did a bit of staining with the green and blues so that the chalk board looked a little beat up. Then I added some branches and a bird who is watching the drift snowmen build up from the snow that is falling. This would be a cute gift idea for the Holidays, for someone to hang on their door or in the kitchen.

Pudgy Bear stained to have a bit of prim look

This is Pudgy a 14 inch round and delightful bear. I decided I wanted a fat chubby little bear so I began drawing out some ideas and this is what I came up with, I then found some cotton quilting fabric and thought it would be perfect for this bear.
I cut the bear out and stained the fabric with instant coffee, to seal the staining in I dried the fabric in the oven at a very low temp. The reason I do this its seals the staining but it also gives the fabric a wonderful coffee smell that stays with the bear.
I then sewed up the bear leaving a seam open in the back for filling the bear with fiber fill. When I stuffed the bear I only lightly stuffed him to give the chubby look. Another reason for stuffing him lightly was to allow some bend in the bears legs and arms.
I wanted to give him the look of being old and mistreated so he is missing one button eye and his nose and missing eye are done in cotton black embroidery floss. Lastly I added a bow round his neck for a bit of country look. Pudgy has a bit of an old stained quilted bear.

Featured Item; Sweet Tooth Holiday Mouse

This is Sweet Tooth a cute holiday mouse that I created last year by just cutting out some circles. He is 14 inches tall and filled with fiber fill. He is made from some gray fake craft fur and the little bear is a red felt filled with fiber fill. I did hand embroidery of his face, while Sweet Tooth has black button eyes a bit of soft sculpting was done for his nose features.

The hat is Christmas cotton fabrics and can be removed, I also added some white warm and natural for edging around the hat. Sweet Tooth is also holding a candy cane made with white warm and natural . I painted red stripes and made the candy cane look a little rough. To the candy cane and bear I added some red ribbon and Sweet Tooth has a red glitter felt bow.
This set can make a great gift idea or a sweet idea for decorating a home for the holidays there is no doubt this set is awful sweet.
The price is $10.00 and to purchase them, just click on the PayPal button to get them.
