One of my Favorite Designs 10 inch Bare Time Bear a cloth doll animal Bear

This week it's one of my favorite little bears that I designed and have a pattern for making lots of various ways.  This time around I am using a a cotton blend fabric that is off greens to gray in coloring and it has various plaid designs in it.
The bear is fill with fiber fill and the pattern I created is all one piece and simple to make a different look each time I decide to create this little guy.

I used bright acrylic pink paints for the cheeks and small mouth.  The eyes are black beads that I have hand sewn into the head of the bare and so is the nose a black bead.  I used an white embroidery floss for the upper part of the nose then decided to add a little butter fly with twine around his neck.
I plan on making one from muslin and staining to make it look quite grubby and I think I will do one out of fleece, probably black for a little black bear.

Painting and Painting Finished Painted Items

Good morning from the Oregon coast as its morning as I create a post today! I have been busy painting all things of goodies!  So I am sharing all the completed ones with you all.  Some of the items I found at Good Will and second hand stores and some items are from the dollar store.  I have added some of the new goodies to my Etsy store It's Just Frankly Kute and I have now started to sell on Ebay I just kind of thought I would give that a whirl and see how it goes. The first picture is a little red tin box I am working on right now and I am using oil based acrylics to paint the tin box.  It is a little care free bee floating about celebrating summer days.
I found  some small plastic cutting boards in the dollar store and thought those would make cute holiday wall hanging decor.  This is one of the cutting boards that I have finished and its all about the 4th of July.  Once again I used the acrylics were are my most favorite paints and all the designs are my very own I am not using patterns to create the scenes

Finally the last the picture! I found these wonderful 15 inch wooden serving tray its a small tray that one might hold a glass of milk and cookies on it.  I have turned it into a wall hanging decor for summer time.  I have this item in my Etsy store and selling on ebay
I found the tray at Good Will and I painted the art work with oil based acrylics and sealed it with acrylic sealer.
I love going the dollar store, Joann's, craft stores, second hand stores and finding goodies that I can do my art work on because it widens the imagination on what one can think up to do art work on.

Love Those Painted Chalk boards

Today thought I would share some my favorite painted chalkboards, so I start with the little lamb one which I have just finished and is in my Etsy store It's Just Frankly Kute.  This a small chalk board I found in the fabric store in the craft section.  I painted with oil based acrylics and I drew the scene freehand  using no patterns just an idea I had rolling around in my head.  This one celebrates summer.  Each chalk board is also sealed with an acrylic sealer.
I created this set a while back for fall time and I used the acrylic paints and I always have different ideas on how to make my crows so I don't think I have ever redone the same crows, and they are fun there many ways to think about how a crow looks.
Cats too! they are tons of fun because there are so many different ways to draw a kitty and I try to draw just from my imagination but sometimes I will find a photo of my kitty ruffles and cartoon/draw from a silly photo I have of her.
I love lady bugs because there tons of ways to make lady bugs! and I finished this one just before St Paddy's day its very simple I just love the acrylics they work so nicely and all kinds of things!  I love sharing different ways to paint and chalkboards is one of my personal favorite things to do.  They can make cute home decor for the holidays or just for everyday.

Primitive Easter Bunnies that make great Bowl Fillers

I created these a few weeks back, they are little bowl fillers for Easter.  I made up my own pattern and designed them using muslin and staining with instant coffee and cinnamon.  I then painted them with my oil based acrylic paints.  The basket is from the dollar store. You can find the little bunnies here to purchase
You can also see more information on them in my etsy store.

Today's Featured Item a Painted Plate for the 4th of July

Good afternoon to everyone its Sunday and raining on the Oregon coast once again!  Today I am featuring one of my painted plates.  I took an 11 inch white plate and painted with oil based acrylics and then baked the plate in the oven at 200 degrees to seal the acrylic paints.  This plate is my very own design and I have used some of the song Yankee Doddle Dandy on it with a little boy and his cute dog.  You can only use these plates for home decor so you can not eat off of the plates they can only be cleaned by using a dry clean cloth.  I have added the link above so that you can be taken to my Etsy store and there you can purchase the plate through Etsy.  The Cost of the plate is $ 10.00 and shipping is $ 9.00  so the total for shipping in the United States  is $ 19.00 and if you are outside the United States shipping is $ 20.00  so total cost is $ 39.00  All plates are signed by me and the year the plate was designed.

Today I am sharing some of the chickens I have created!  The first couple of pictures are of my chicken bowl that I designed all on my own, using all kinds of cotton fabrics and I think I may do a tutorial on how to do this Chicken bowl.
In the next pictures its a large paper mache egg that I have converted into a chicken....

Right now I am working on a quilt and I have finished some dolls that I am looking forward to sharing with you all a little later on.
